Imagine a small, rock-hard corn kernel popping into the air with a POP and turning into a big golden-white ball. It's almost magic. And it even tastes good. Three short stories put popcorn into play: We meet Mogens the ant who falls in love with a shiny corn kernel, a grumpy old man and a village that pops out of a natural disaster. And then we are on the day that starts a popcorn in 0th grade Popcorn is a play about friendship, about belonging, about being yourself in a group - and about being a group that contains many "selves".
