Duration: 60 min without intermission In an empty black box, a performer confronts herself with images of her body projected directly onto her skin. In QUERY, through the encounter between video art and choreography, she explores the tension between bodily experience and representation. The work deconstructs shame and vulnerability and exposes the internalized expectations and cultural norms that shape our view of the body. Biological and political discourses make it a contested site of identity. Can it ever exist free from imposed interpretations?
