Get smart about signal processing, loudness and aesthetic considerations Mastering engineer Marcus Gyldenløve Kyed gives insight into his approach to mastering - both as a technical discipline and as an artistic practice. We will be introduced to key topics such as signal processing (compression, EQ, clipping, limiting). He will also touch on loudness and the important aesthetic considerations that go into shaping the final master. Marcus Gyldenløve Kyed has over eight years of experience in the profession and has collaborated with a wide range of artists and genres over the years. He currently runs his own mastering studio in Aarhus, MACH Mastering. Marcus has a degree in Sound Design from Sonic College.
