Hear about the international Red Cross work, where Mark Münkel talks about some of the disaster and conflict operations around the world. Mark has participated in relief work in countries such as Turkey, South Sudan, the Philippines, Nigeria, Haiti and Bangladesh. Since 2011, he has beenkey resource as a technician for Base Camp, a Red Cross camp forrelief workers. His expertise is in building and running this camp, which isessential to supporting the people working on the front lines of disastersand conflicts. Mark will provide an insight into the Red Cross Mandate, the International disaster tools and the extensive equipment availableavailable for dispatch from the disaster stockpile.
