The year is 1720 and pirates rule the seas. Among them are two of history's most fearless women: the pirates Anne Bonny and Mary Read! In a time when women were not allowed to set foot on a ship, they defied all rules and sailed side by side with the men. CATCH THE WIND is a newly created musical inspired by the legend of Anne Bonny and Mary Read. Through magnificent music, dramatic sea battles and budding love, we take to the open seas - and into the heart of a story of identity, courage and friendship. From the pirate ports of Jamaica to the dangerous Nordic waters, CATCHING THE WIND takes you on an action-packed and adventurous journey.
