UNPLUGGED recreates Johnny Madsen's songs in a special UNPLUGGED version, where the orchestra "Johnny Madsen-For faaen!" turns down the hard-rockin' Rock'n'Roll a bit, in order to turn up the intimate cozy atmosphere, the funny anecdotes andthe stories. All the well-known songs with both biting and subtle lyrics stand out very strongly in this packaging, and give new life and insight into Johnny Madsen's universe. An intimate concert of the very special kind is planned. It is Flemming Rothmann who draws Johnny Madsen as the lead character. -For many years I have been mistaken for Johnny (Madsen)So I actually thought it was time to pick up the gauntlet and form a so-called jam band around Johnny Madsen's music. And you have to say that it's gone really well, laughs Flemming. Flemming is ably supported by Søren Aagesen on electric guitar and Jan Carsten on Cajon/percussion.
