Furesø Libraries invite you to a candlelit twilight hour during Nordic Literature Week Is an annually recurring event launched by the Nordic Association, which holds Nordic Literature Week every year in week 46. Every Monday during literature week, a twilight hour with reading aloud for adults is held. Throughout the Nordic region, the same book is read aloud at the same time on the same day. This year, the futuristic novel They Will Drown in Their Mothers' Tears by Johannes Anyuru, which has won the prestigious August Prize in Sweden, has been selected as the book of the year. Actress Helene Egelund, known for, among other things, Landsbyen, Taxa and various roles in Danish films and series, will read aloud from the novel, and students from Furesø Music School will accompany with atmospheric pieces of music.
