Has returned to the Danish music scene after over a decade of silence! In June 2025, the band's long-awaited fourth album Cul-De-Sac landed GAFFA gave it 5 stars, praising the record as a "sonic rebirth" and a "completed work that needs to be heard loudly and cultivated". The album is full of familiar, fuzzy drive combined with a fresh and contemporary sound. The year before, the band laid the foundation for their comeback with three digital demo releases (Demos and Rarities Part I, II and III), which gave fans an insight into their early years and creative process. The Setting Son was formed in Copenhagen in 2006 around songwriter and frontman Sebastian TW Kristiansen. With over 50 homemade tape demos on a 4-track recorder, he quickly caught the interest of Bad Afro Records, who released his debut album The Setting Son in 2007.
