Many are considering alternatives to the big tech companies At our regular Thursday IT café, you can meet other interested people, share experiences and get good advice about European alternatives to, among other things, email, browsers, office programs, chat programs and social media.42% of Danes are considering switching away from major American tech platforms such as Google, Facebook and Chat GPT. For many, it's about making a conscious decision about which platforms you use and how much time you want to spend on a screen. In the IT café, we share experiences, explore options and talk about why and how to switch to European alternatives. We are talking about, among other things: - Search engines and browsers - Mail accounts - Navigation and maps - Chat assistants - Social platforms - Office suites - Operating systems (e.g. Linux)Every Thursday 4 - 6 pm Frederikssund Library.
