The Natural Highlight of Fall Break A recurring event that we really love! Nature Guide Keld Hauge Once again, our knowledgeable guide will be leading the way, and you’ll be in good hands on this mushroom-hunting trip—even as a beginner! October offers especially good opportunities to find tube mushrooms, button mushrooms, and the last chanterelles of the season. In addition to learning a great deal as we explore the beautiful outdoors, the goal of the hunt is for us to gather around the table to enjoy a delicious soup made from the mushrooms we’ve collected. We provide ingredients for the soup including bread/flutes. You can buy beer/water on site.
