Get to know Denmark's oldest theater. The Folketeatret was the first theater to invite children inside, and since it opened in 1857, its vision has been to create theater for the people. The Folketeatret thus carries a noble obligation in its name and has, since the theater's founding, produced and performed theater for everyone. Get to know the theater before your theater visit Are you going to see a performance at the Folketeatret? Or are you working on a theater project? Come behind the scenes and get an insight into how a theatre performance is made.
