The fun-loving bohemians once again let us into the cold attics of Paris when one of the greatest hits in opera history is re-performed by Elisabeth Linton. 130 years after its premiere in Turin, La bohème still lives an immortal existence among opera's most performed and beloved works. Perhaps because of the fascination of the - on the surface - carefree artistic environment in Paris? Maybe because of the beautiful music and the recurring melodies that follow the individual characters and make the opera extraordinarily easy to follow? Certainly because of the timeless description of true love in a world where it is often cheaply for sale. In La bohème we meet four friends, led by the poet Rodolfo, who try to stay warm in a cold attic on Christmas Eve.
