Theme of the month: Richard Wagner: Siegfried / Götterdämmerung (from the Ring of the Nibelung) On the occasion of the concert on September 17th at DR Koncerthuset, we will focus on Richard Wagner: Siegfried / Götterdämmerung (from Ring of the Nibelung). Siegfried and Götterdämmerung form the dramatic conclusion to Wagner's masterpiece The Ring of the Nibelung - a masterpiece of musical storytelling. The excerpts follow Siegfried's journey from rebellious youth to love and heroism, as the legacy of the curse inevitably leads to destruction. Finally, Brünnhilde emerges and gives the story its final redemption. About DR Club Classical If you like classical music, you can once again enjoy it together with others in the library's listening club. You don't need to have special knowledge about classical music, just want to listen with others and talk about the music in a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere.
