Swedish author Selma Lagerlöf (1858-1940) was known for her stories that blend realism, adventure, and mystery. Her works range from folk tales and legends to autobiographical memoirs, often focusing on human life, faith, and the supernatural. Librarian Marianna Finnsdóttir reads two of her Christmas legends aloud. On December 8th, it will be 'The Stone in the Lake' - a legend that focuses on themes such as charity, mercy and hope.
