(Re)experience youth life in Herlev in the 1960 s with music as the focal point On October 20, 1966, the world-famous band The Who played at Herlev Hallen. The concert was possibly the largest single cultural event in Herlev's recent history. On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the concert, we are paying tribute to the history of Herlev's youth with a themed event about the city's youth and music life in the 1960 s. Author Claus Hagen Petersen has just written a new book about Herlev Popklub, and based on it he tells the story of the club and the local music scene - with threads to The Who concert and the other pop clubs in the capital area as a distinctivecultural phenomenon in the 1960 s.
