Permaculture and self-sufficiency in practice. Create an edible and sustainable garden. How can you grow more food, increase biodiversity and at the same time reduce the amount of work you do in the garden? In this lecture you will get an introduction to the principles of permaculture and to the forest garden - a cultivation system inspired by nature's own ecosystems. Here, trees, shrubs, herbs and ground cover collaborate in multiple layers to create a productive, robust and beautiful garden with edible crops year-round. The lecture builds on personal experiences with designing and establishing forest agriculture and forest gardens and is filled with concrete examples, images and solutions that can be directly applied to your own garden.
