Skælskør Kunstforening presents the solo exhibition SECOND SKIN by visual artist Felicia van Os. The title SECOND SKIN refers to identity as a layered and changing "shell". The opening will begin with an artist talk at 1 pm. SECOND SKIN - solo exhibition by Felicia van Os Skælskør Art Association presents the solo exhibition SECOND SKIN by visual artist Felicia van Os. The vast majority of the works are newly created specifically for the exhibition at Magasinet. In the exhibition SECOND SKIN, Felicia van Os examines how our identity is shaped by the cultural, emotional and spiritual layers we carry with us throughout life. Based on her own upbringing as a so-called "Third Culture kid", she explores questions such as: Who are we when we move between different cultures - and what do we take with us? The title SECOND SKIN refers to identity as a layered and changing "shell." Just as skin both protects us and is porous to the world around us, we are constantly absorbing experiences, norms, beliefs, and influences.
