Make yourself comfortable in the Workers' Museum's banquet hall and get closer to Dea Trier Mørch when literary figure and cultural mediator Maja Lykketoft and author Pernille Ipsen delve into one of the most central artists of Danish social realism. Dea Trier Mørch: Lifelike realism:Dea Trier Mørch grew up surrounded by art and was trained as a visual artist at an early age. In the 1970 s, she developed her artistic language in the political artist collective Røde Mor and had her literary breakthrough with the novel Vinterbørn (1976). With a strong socialist commitment, she moved from abstract art towards a realistic realism. Her 18 books are based on her own life and revolve around life with children and family, working with art and politics, life crises, the body, women and gender roles.
