The library is teeming with banned books! We meet in the speakeasy, listen to and talk about banned books while enjoying a hot drink and a biscuit Books are increasingly being banned around the world. These may be books about homosexuality, religion, or books that are politically opposed to the country's leadership. In week 41, Danish PEN is focusing on banned books, and the library is therefore inviting you into the library's local speakeasy, where we will covertly read aloud from banned books and talk about why books are banned and what it can mean for society.
