Be seduced when the Danish National Opera presents Georges Bizet's hit opera in a new staging by Johanne Holten with a Danish translation by Jens Louis Petersen. You may have never experienced Carmen live on stage, but you definitely know the music. Few operas are as packed with recognizable melodies as Bizet's masterpiece from 1875. Right from the iconic and fast-paced prelude, you as the audience are taken by the hand, and it is not released again until just under three hours later, when a string of thebiggest hits and one of the most provocative stories of the 20th century have flown across the stage.
