How do you create a meaningful and inspiring life after retirement? In our event series “The Good Transition,” we highlight the opportunities that retirement offers and provide inspiration on how this new phase of life can be characterized by personal growth, community, and engagement. Meet researcher and author Aske Juul Lassen, who—drawing on many years of research on aging—offers a vivid insight into how Today’s seniors are rethinking old age. Drawing on the book *The New Old*, he focuses on aa generation that doesn't step back—but instead creates new communities and maintains an active and curious lifestyle. There will also be opportunities to meet local organizations and communities that offer activities and social networks that can help shape an active retirement life This event is for those of you who are approaching retirement or have just taken your first steps into this new and exciting phase of life.
