Days for Girls International is an award-winning NGO that works to break down stigma and restrictions related to menstruation to improve health, education and livelihoods. There are 1.5 billion women of childbearing age in the world. 500 million of them live on less than $1.25 a day. These are the people Days for Girls is trying to reach and work with. At Days for Girls Copenhagen we produce Df G pads, which are a beautiful, washable and sustainable solution to managing menstruation. The menstrual kits come with important menstrual health education. We prepare the materials and sew the parts for the kit, but don't worry, if you don't know how to sew there are many other tasks we can help with!
