Kinna Poulsen is current with the book At Eye Level: On 21st Century Contemporary Faroese Art (2026), in which she delves into the changes and turning points thattrends and artists who have shaped the development in the new millenniumon and off the Faroese art scene. In her lecture, she outlines some of the crucial turning points andboth older and younger artists who have left their distinctive mark on The Faroe Islands' current art scene. ABOUT THE SPEAKERKinna Poulsen (b. 1968) holds a Master of Arts degree in Danish and art history,associate professor, author, critic and curator. As a writer, curator andart critic, she has been working since the mid-1990 sclosely with the Faroese art scene, both in the Faroe Islands andinternationally, and she has received, among other things, the 15.
