Performance no. 1. A youth story about right-wing extremism and radicalization. Into the Darkness is a story about a boy and his family whose lives change the day the police knock. How could it have come to this? The performance examines the slide from seemingly innocent memes, clicks and likes to extreme communities and readiness for violence - from the search for identity to radicalization. With Into the Dark, Mærkværk wants to strengthen the awareness of young people so that they can recognize and ask questions when they encounter radical views and polarized worldviews.
