Shoes/Torp Hard work, stamina and especially respect for your audience is the secret to a long and successful life on the road, because it takes a lot to be one of the country's most touring bands for many years, and it's Sko/Torp with 80-90 concerts per year, every year. Many of us have been there from the start in 1990, when Sko/Torp appeared almost out of nowhere with the album On A Long Lonely Night, which, with sales of more than 200,000 copies, set a record as the best-selling Danish debut album. Sko/Torp was one of the absolute biggest Danish orchestras of the 1990 s - partly because the radios couldn't get rid of the orchestra's melodious sound.
