I have a diagnosis of paranoid schizophrenia and I am telling my story to break down stereotypes about the diagnosis. As I say; those of us with mental illness are not contagious, so we don't need to be so afraid of it. What am I telling you about? On my city walk, you will hear about my experiences as a psychiatric patient, which I first became when I was 17.
