Lecture: Depression and identity

Join us when Psyk Info visits Greve Library for an educational presentation about depression and identity. When you have depression, you may experience your identity being overshadowed by the challenges that depression brings with it. When energy disappears and joy disappears, it can affect the experience of who you are and cause concerns about how you are perceived by others. This evening, a psychologist will talk about what depression is and what types of treatments can be rewarding. An EN AF OS ambassador will share his personal experiences with depression and the way to get better. Both will discuss how what can be experienced as a meaningless and hopeless period can become a new and rewarding story about oneself and one's future life.
