A concert with vocalist/songwriter/bandleader Cæcilie Norby and her close collaborator, bassist Lars Danielsson, has long been on Gentofte Jazz Club's wish list. And now it has been achieved! This is not just any duo. The two have developed a musical expression that is in a class of its own. Both with pre-recorded backing and direct duo improvisations, the two stand out as probably some of the most original and captivating music in recent years. Genre-wise, we have access to both the distinguished standards of jazz, pop songs from several decades and our own compositions. All music is performed in original, own arrangements that are unlike anything else.
