The hero may be likable, but it is the evil one - the monster - that sticks.The hero may be remembered as a somewhat fresh, albeit sweet, experience, but it is the bad guy, the supervillain, the monster that sticks in the cerebral cortex.Villainology is about these characters - the fictional Bohemians and women of all kinds.
