Krister Jonsson: guitar. Thomas Fonnesbæk: bass. Stefan Pasborg: drums. Krister Jonsson is one of the Nordic countries' most distinctive and innovative guitarists. With a unique ability to bridge the lyrical traditions of jazz and the raw energy of rock, he creates his own personal sound. Jonsson has been active on the Scandinavian jazz scene for more than three decades, where he has been heard in collaboration with, among others, Marilyn Mazur, Bo Stief, Kjeld Lauritsen and Ayi Solomon. Now Krister Jonsson has assembled a new trio and written music inspired by Jimi Hendrix and Sonny Rollins, Norwegian mountains and Swedish forests. Together with the two Danish musical heavyweights Thomas Fonnesbæk and Stefan Pasborg, the bandmaster presents a concert that revolves around both the quiet and the extroverted.
