Østerbro Library invites you to an author conversation with Kim Leine about his family novel "Olav's House", the first book in the family trilogy CROSS AND FLESH. OLAV'S HOUSE is a story about Kim Leine's Norwegian family. A novel about three generations' dreams of freedom, vision and independence and about everything - poverty, loss and religious fanaticism - that holds them back. And about Kim himself, the prodigal son, who must travel through an entire century to reach his mother's story. In this conversation with Kim Leine, our librarian will delve into why it is right now, at this point in life and writing, that the time has come.to tell the family story.
