If there is one thing the world of opera is rich in, it is moments - great moments, moments that open up, moments that shed light, redeem, explain, seduce and change. Opera treats the moment as a painter treats the detail. It conveys the moment - the feeling or the event - and unfolds it so that we as the audience can empathize with it and see ourselves. At this storytelling concert, singer, author and opera mediator Søren Schelling will share some of his favorite moments in the form of an exquisite bouquet of opera arias performed live to his own piano accompaniment, linked together by short stories from the opera's repertoire.world.
