This concert introduces you to a unique musical experience where Dutch and Swedish traditions come together. Dulfer & Witteveen, cellist Rogier Hornman, and world champion nyckelharpa player Torbjörn Näsbom bring traditionals to life and present music that remains relevant and connecting today. EP release and the future of folk music This concert marks the EP release of Back to the Roots – Sweden , the first in a series of EPs. The Future Sounds Foundation is dedicated to documenting traditions from various countries. This initiative contributes to both the preservation and renewal of folk music, allowing this rich history to live on in new forms. Energetic sounds with unique instrumentation Let yourself be carried away by the energetic and warm atmosphere this concert has to offer. The music is performed live by Thomas Dulfer on bassoon, Deborah Witteveen on saxophone, Torbjörn Näsbom on nyckelharpa, and Rogier Hornman on cello. The repertoire includes a mix of Swedish and Dutch traditional music, complemented by original compositions by Torbjörn Näsbom and Rogier Hornman.
