Join us for a topical presentation that will provide you with a historical and socio-analytical framework to understand the upcoming elections in Brazil. Christian Møller Larsen, a teacher at Mariagerfjord Gymnasium and author of the brand new book "The History of Brazil Over 500 Years", guides us through some of the big questions in connection with the election. Why is Brazil's democracy under pressure? What is really at stake? And how do today's conflicts relate to the country's long history of slavery, authoritarian rule, and weak institutions?
