Take your students to the theater and experience Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tales in a fun and beautiful Pixi Ballet for children. The prince embarks on a long journey in search of the perfect princess, but it's not easy to find a princess with true feelings who dares to be herself. He has to meet three very strange princesses before there is a sudden knock on the door of his own castle. The Princess and the Pea is a poetic fairy tale that in this Pixi Ballet is told through dance and movement without the use of words. The performance invites children into a baroque fairy tale world filled with powder, wigs and a mysterious conductor who may have a hand in the game. In the Royal Danish Theatre's Pixi Performances, children and their adults can get a fun and informal introduction to the theatre's classical arts; opera, drama, ballet and concert.
