Saturday, October 3rd is the day we look forward to when we open the literature festival for the 16th time. NOTE: This year the festival will be held at Struer Library, not at Folkets Hus. The festival is FREE, but with the option to purchase lunch. As always, the program offers a diverse mix of great Danish authors. All in all, a day where we celebrate literature and its ability to captivate and excite. We look forward to seeing you! At 9:00- We will open the festival with a speech & morning song. We will also give space to the dedicated local literature lover Ulla Fredenslund, who has visited the literature festival over the years. She has promised us to read her own poems. At 9:25- For those of you who have been looking forward to Hans Peter Madsenand his convincing review of the season's releases, we have the pleasure of once again being able to sit back and be guided safely through. At 11:00- The debutant of the year is Nanna Holm, who talks about his novel "Røde Port". - Date: 3 October 2026 - Time: 09:00–17:00 - Venue: Struer Bibliotek - Address: Smedegade 1-7, Struer, Denmark - Admission: Free
