And Andersen has portrayed the Danish king not once, but twice - most recently in Kongeord from 2024. With humor, insight and respect for his sources, Andersen tells about his meetings with artists, royalty and creative souls - and about how a biography is always the result of a meeting between the biography's author and the person behind the story. Jens Andersen is a Ph D in Nordic literature, a recognized literary critic and recipient of, among others, the Georg Brandes Prize, the Søren Gyldenda Prize and the Hans Christian Andersen Scholarship.
