Join us for a lovely evening in Perchs tea salon, where we will listen, smell and taste. Here we turn back time to the year 1835 when AC Perchs Tea Trade was founded, and the first tea arrived in Europe on large ships. The journey then takes us to the plantations, where we will hear the story of the first tea leaves to be drunk and how tea is produced in different countries around the world. We will also discuss new trends in the world of tea, as well as our current interest in tea as a pleasure. For example, what characterizes white, green, black and oolong tea, and not least, how do they taste? There will be ample opportunity to find out exactly that, as Perch's Classic Afternoon Tea will be served during the lecture, which this evening consists of three different teas during the lecture, two scones with delicious accompaniments, two petit four cakes and threesmall finger sandwiches. - Date: 26 January 2027 - Time: 18:00–21:00 - Venue: Perchs Tea Room - Address: Kronprinsensgade 5, 1. sal, Copenhagen K, Denmark
