Long Live Life The quest for a longer life is becoming an increasingly prominent topic—in science, in the media, among health influencers, and in social media trends. But what does the research say about what we can do ourselves to live a good, long life? How do we keep our brains and bodies young as we age? What myths are circulating in the longevity debate, and how do we distinguish between evidence and popular advice on social media? And where do we draw the ethical and existential line when it comes to the desire for a longer life—and do we risk losing sight of what makes life worth living? In this conversation, we explore both the science and the dilemmas behind longevity and the quest for a longer life with an aging researcher Morten Scheibye-Knudsenfrom the University of Copenhagen and associate professor of philosophy Morten Digefrom Aarhus University.
