At its best, theatre functions as a wonderful illusion machine. It originated 2,500 years ago in Greece and has since evolved through artists such as Shakespeare, Molière, Norén and Strindberg. But what exactly can theatre do? And where is theatre art heading? You will get a qualified idea of this when Karen-Lise Mynster, Stina Ekblad, Tina Gylling Mortensen, Nicolas Bro, Jens Albinus and Olaf Johannessen take to the stage and capture the innermost essence of theatre art.
