Come and join us for the opening of the art exhibition Tang: Transformations by Marianne Johnstad-Møller, Kirstine Autzen and Alberte Holmø Bojesen Seaweed is a remarkable organism with a unique ability to transform and adapt. Seaweed is one of the ocean's most important superheroes, cleaning our atmosphere, protecting our coastlines and providing healthy nutrition. But like much other life in the sea, seaweed is unfortunately under pressure because marine environments are changing, which weakens the seaweed's growth conditions. The exhibition provides perspectives on how unique seaweed is and why it is important that we open our eyes to the valuable presence of seaweed. The art installation Tang: Transformations is created by the artists Marianne Johnstad-Møller, Alberte Holmø Bojesen and Kirstine Autzen in collaboration In the exhibition, they offer visitors here at Hillerød Library the opportunity to encounter seaweed on several levels. - Date: 3 October 2026 - Time: 12:00–13:30 - Venue: Hillerød Bibliotekerne - Address: Christiansgade 1, Hillerød, Denmark
