In the spring of 2025, Klara Trebbien Rasmussen took a job in a pig barn. No one knew she was a journalist. For a month, Klara Trebbien Rasmussen worked undercover in a conventional Danish pig production, in an industry that few people have access to. She became part of the everyday life, the pace and the routines behind the barn doors. Under the guise of being a student, she experienced firsthand how law and ethics give way to pace and efficiency. In the talk, she gives us an insight into her experiences and what made her choose to work undercover. She discusses her book Flæsk and the dilemmas that arise when encountering a tough industry.
