Virginia Woolf is known as a writer who is difficult to read, but is she? In 2026, literary mediator Camilla Engkjær Laursen has set out to read Virginia Woolf's writings, which have offered a feminist education, lots of laughs and literary highlights - experiences that she has also continuously shared on her blog. Virginia Woolf has become an iconic author, and in Behind Culture, Engkjær Laursen breaks down the awe for Woolf and draws threads to other books written by authors inspired by Virginia Woolf. There will be an opportunity to ask questions and to buy books. The event takes place in Vogn 1 at Godsbanen in collaboration with FOF Aarhus and Aarhus Literature Center. Participation is free, but registration is required. The event is part of the "Bag om Kulturen" cultural festival, where you can, among other things, go behind the scenes of the literary world and meet the people who shape cultural life.
