Last year they released the album Back Then - a project borne of empathy, musicality and respect for tradition. Sahra da Silva is a very prominent singer on the Danish live scene and balances effortlessly between soul, blues and jazz with a voice that can blow you away, but also express raw fervor. It is beautiful, powerful and captivating. Hans Knudsen is an extremely competent, experienced and stylistically broad-based pianist and one of the best communicators of traditional rhythm & blues, to which he gives his own personal touch. The pair is supported by legendary jazz trombonist Ole "Fessor" Lindgreen, who delivers just the right feeling with his blues-infused playing. In addition, the sought-after Laust "Krudtmejer" Nielsen and his solid bass playing.
