Hobby horse presents: Rasmus Kjær Trio and OMRUM. This evening, Rasmus Kjær Trio will play music by Rasmus Kjær, composed over the past decade and a half. The program includes songs from the debut album Broken Bow from 2012, recorded with Kresten Osgood and Jonas Westergaard, as well as music from the latest release Underlake from 2025 with Nicolas Masson and Noé Franklé. The music is melodic, open and curious. It takes its starting point in the history of jazz and the piano, but at the same time points towards new horizons. The compositions function as a framework for a lively interaction, where the written and the improvised constantly influence each other, and where the three musicians have space to explore the music together. At the piano sits Rasmus Kjær, pianist, organist, composer and improviser. He has released a number of albums under his own name, from Broken Bow and Orgelimprovisationer to Turist, EROBOTICA and Underlake.
