For the fourth time, the library opens its doors to an exciting Ringsted Board Game Festival, which will take place on Saturday, September 26th. Ringsted Board Games Festival returns on Saturday, September 26, 2026, and this year the festival will be bigger than ever before. The library will be filled with board games, gaming fun and plenty of opportunities to meet other adults who love games in all their forms. Throughout the day, you can try everything from classic board games to new favorites and hidden gems from the library's own collection. Local game guides are on hand at the game stations to help both new and experienced players get started. You can try strategy games, cooperative games, social deduction games and the popular EXIT games, where players must solve puzzles and crack codes together in an escape room-like universe. The festival also features visits from game designers, who demonstrate their own games and provide a glimpse into the work behind the development of a board game.
