Do you know it? You drop your child off at daycare or school and leave with that lump in your throat. The feeling that something isn't right. When you get home, the bill comes. Your child is overwhelmed, reacts violently or withdraws completely. And you can't help but think: Is this really how it's supposed to be? But what do you do when help doesn't come? Or when the help you are offered doesn't help at all? Far too many families find themselves in that situation. When children are kept in settings that do not match their needs, we see the consequences: dissatisfaction, school refusal, stress and families struggling to just get through everyday life. Parents give up careers, communities and dreams, while siblings and relationships are put under pressure.
