Cute chick and super villain Author and debater Anna Juul comes by Glostrup Library with her latest book Sweet Girl (2026) under her arm and an openness about the taboo aspects of humanity. Mental illness in particular has a central place for Juul, who herself knows psychiatry from the inside as a patient, and today she sits on the board of the Danish Psychiatric Foundation and does a great deal of work to destigmatize conversations about mental illness. Her works all revolve around the difficulty of not fitting into society's small boxes, and instead are filled with sadness, otherness and a strange distance from the course of life. Sweet girl is no exception, and therefore you can look forward to a unique evening with laughter, thoughtfulness and great humanity.
