To give a warm start to the winter season's creative projects, De Gamle Huse invites you to a day dedicated to the handicrafts and practical pursuits of the past. Autumn marks the beginning of 'the old days' - a period filled with small chores, handicrafts and renovation projects. This was also the case for the rural population in the old days Once the fields were harvested, tools were repaired, clothes were mended, yarn was carded, and the long dark winter evenings were spent on everything that could prepare the household for the coming of spring. And even today, many find peace and comfort in precisely the same activities when autumn and winter settle in around us. To give a warm start to the winter season's creative projects, we invite you to a day dedicated to the handicrafts and practical pursuits of the past.
