Come by and see the beautiful exhibition of amazing birds and have a chat with Marie Falkenberg about her exhibition and book. Strange Birds is a light-hearted, cheerful, surprising, enlightening and at times deeply serious book. It is A BOOK FOR ADULTS, which in several places is clearly suitable for reading together with older and younger children, respectively. It is a hybrid of AUTOFICTION, FACT, and ADVENTUROUS NATURE STORIES. Marie Falkenberg Mortensen is a papermaker, visual artist and author. She is a trained textile designer from the Danish School of Design, a member of the censored association Danish Craftsmen and Designers. The for Under Lige birds exist in real life. They are housed in the Bird Breeding Reserve for for Under Lige birds and other good people, Kanalens kvarter 38, Albertslund, which is also a painting and papermaking workshop.
